Stockpile sale...coming soon...

So I've been researching stockpiling as well as the "Stockpile Sale" that some will do as a way to clear out items they don't use or to even help make some money on the side.

I have currently been stockpiling now for the last two months or so, and I would have to say that I've got myself a pretty impressive stockpile filled with various toothpaste flavors, deodorant, lotions, body washes, shampoo, conditioners, candy bars, RAZORS, medicines, kleenex, lipcare items, baby items (lotions, baby bath, Qtips, soap, etc), and much much more...

My intentions I think to start with will be to compile a list of what I've got available from my stockpile and prices and offer to friends, family, and locals on a first come first served basis.

This spring, prior to the arrival of #2, I will have a Stockpile Garage Sale. This way I have an opportunity to work on adding to my stockpile throughout the next few months.

That's just a small update from my world... :)

Feb. 1 Coupons.com reset

Since it's the beginning of the month, Coupons.com have reset their coupons available for printing. Better get them before they're gone!

Go HERE to get the latest.
Enjoy!

Really sweet deal at HyVee Barlows....

So, here's how the deal lays out... and I especially like the way this grocery store did this since it makes it fair for everyone, and gives all shoppers a chance to use the tearpad coupons that companies provide.

On an endcap there was this deal,
Buy one set of Chinet plates, get a free set of disposable coffee cups, and when you get the coffee cups, you get a bag of coffee for free....

Here's how it worked...

I paid $2.29 for a set of 15 disposible Chinet plates
Got 10 really nice to-go insulated coffee cups with lids--FREE
a Bag of coffee (I can't remember the brand)--FREE

The coupons are attached to the products on the endcap making this a very easy deal to do. I personally will use the Chinet plates, so the other stuff was a total bonus!

I also don't know if this deal is at HyVee south, but if you know, leave a comment.

Pampers Swaddlers Deal...

I noticed in the paper the other day (this week) that Silver Lake Foods on North Broadway in Rochester is running a sale on Pampers.

Ad reads that it is only until supplies last $4.99 a package, so I say get there as soon as you can! It's a really cheap deal for these diapers... I can't remember the last time diapers were on sale for only $5 a package! I'm going to try to swing by there tomorrow so I'll update what I find.

Ta-Ta for now!

HyVee really good deal on Ziploc bags...

I noticed this today when I was there and plan on going back to get some.

The HyVee South store had a huge end cap full of 3/$3 Ziploc Bags (reg price $2.27 each). Not only are these a good deal just by themselves, but if you have some of the coupons that were in the most recent weekend papers, you can either get $.40 to $.50 off of one box, making this an AMAZING stock up price.

To top that off, there is a SC Johnson Rebate right HERE where you can get $5 back for the purchase of any three Ziploc products. You can get up to three rebates per household. This is a HUGE Money Maker!

Let me know if you are able to take advantage of this deal!

Walgreens 1/24 second trip :) Much more successful...

Yup, it was my fault on the first time around at Walgreens today...

**Always remember, if you do a Register Rewards purchase...you can only do one of these transactions per deal, otherwise anything more than one, you won't get the rewards**

Here's how this one went:
(2) PERT shampoos
After sale and coupons: $.50 each

(1) Secret Flawless Deodorant
After sale/coupon/ and Register Reward: $.49

Organix Cherry Blossom Shampoo
This smells SO DELICIOUS
$6.99 with a Mail-in Rebate... FREE

(3) Jumbo packages of Size 4 Huggies diapers
After sale/coupons/and Register Reward: $5.49 a package ($.20 a diaper!)
I was pleased with this one since this size averages approximate $.30 a diaper and it's the first time I've worked a diaper deal... very good deal I think.
I also did not have the Children's Activity Book Coupon which would have made this an even better deal at approximately $.16 a diaper.

(2) SURE Men's Deodorant
After sale/coupon: FREE

Revlon Eye Lash Curler and Revlon Color Stay EyeShadow set
After B1G1 50% off sale, coupons, and a $5 register reward from a previous sale: $2.48 for both

(2) Clearasil Foaming Face Wash
After sale (25% off)/$2 off coupon: $1.59 each

This time around, I was MUCH more pleased.

I have a $1, $2, and $5 Register Rewards to use on my next purchase also! Hopefully next week will give us something good!

Walgreen's Shopping Trip 1/24

As I still try to work out the kinks on how the Register Rewards works, I think I may have messed this up a bit today but after figuring out my totals, I'm still pleased with my shopping trip and will chaulk it up as a lesson learned.
Basically, I am pretty sure that if you're going to do a deal where you are getting a Register Reward, you should only do one per transaction. For example, the Secret deodorant is on sale this week and if you buy one, you get $1 RR back... I bought 4 and got $1 back?! :( So, I can only think they had to be separate transactions... lesson learned.
As you can see the items I got were pretty good and here's how it laid out.

(4) Stayfree Maxi Pads
Used 2 B1G1 Free coupons
Used 2 $1/one coupons
Total: $.50 each
(6) Pert Plus Shampoo/Conditioner
Used 6 $1 off one bottle coupons
Earned $2 Register Reward
Total: $7 or $1.17 per bottle
(this was one where I should have earned $6 RR total, but messed up)

(4) SURE Men's Deodorant
Used 4 $1.50/1 coupons
Total: FREE
(I have more coupons, and will return to get more deals!)

(3) Secret Flawless Women's Deodorant
Used $.50 off each coupon
Earned $1 Register Reward
Total $4.97 or $1.65 each
(this was one where I should have earned $3 RR total, but messed up)

(2) Nestle Crunch Valentine's Candy
Used $1/2
Total: 2/$4 or $2 each

(2) Blistex medicated lip therapy
Used 2 $.35/1
Total: 2/$1.30 or $.65 each

(2) Olay Body Quench Lotion
Used 2 $1/1 coupon
Total: $13.98
**But will submit for an Olay Rebate making this FREE!**

(2) Olay In-Shower Lotion
FREE with purchase of Olay Lotion
So here is how the final total looks:
$37.51
$3 in RR
$13.98 Olay Rebate
Grand Total:
$20.53
I think it was a really good shop for that much!
